Visit to the Foreign Office – Whitehall

The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries Livery Committee has been able to arrange a special visit to the Foreign Office. This is an unusual opportunity, as it is rarely open to the public, and not something the FO routinely does.

We will be able to see round the building, take some photographs (subject to security restrictions, and it is hoped, but currently not certain – full details are not yet forthcoming – that we will have a brief talk from a foreign office official about Foreign Office policy and something in the Global Health field. We will be able to ask questions as well.

The building is spectacular as is evidenced by such photographs as are available to the public. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to see a very wonderful building.

This is a very special opportunity as the building is very rarely open to the public. Demand is sure to be high. Please book soon….

We have not currently arranged a meal afterwards, as it maybe this will finish too early to make that realistic, but it may be possible just to disappear to a nearby pub individually or en masse!

Refunds, minus a £5 admin fee (per ticket), will be offered, upon request, to anyone cancelling for any reason up to six working days before an event. After this time, no refunds are available.

The Livery Committee is the Society’s members’ social committee and is separate from the main Society Programme. It operates outside of the governance of the Society, and uses a money-pooling system for all of its events. Net receipts collected by the Society on their behalf are passed to the Livery Committee.
